How can I run a Public Bid Opening?

If your organization needs or wants to publicly open vendor submissions in front of witnesses to show transparency (with an audit trail), you can do this in Bonfire using the Sealed Documents functionality.

When creating your project, simply indicate which documents need to be sealed by checking the corresponding checkbox on the Manage Requested Information screen.

NOTE: Bonfire automatically seals all documents submitted during the Open stage of the Project.

Once the Project is no longer accepting submissions, the actual unsealing can take place. You can either:

• have the vendors video call in and then share your screen on the Project Details page, or
• have vendors attend live and project the Project Details page onto a screen that everyone can see.
