The Opportunity Contact Information feature allows Project Owners to provide additional contact information to vendors on a per-project basis. This will be displayed to vendors on the opportunity page under project details.
This is an example of what that looks like:
Setting Up/Editing Opportunity Contact Information
When creating or editing a project, Project Owners will have the following display options for their contact information:
- Always display - the provided contact information is always visible to vendors on the opportunity page.
- Only display after the Vendor Discussions Due Date - the provided contact information is only visible once Vendor Discussions closed.
- Do not display - no contact information is displayed, it will indicate that the Project Owner does not wish to be contacted once Vendor Discussions are closed. This option is selected by default.
When selecting an option that displays contact information, a "Contact Email or Phone Number" is required (denoted by the red asterisk). A "Contact Name" is optional.
NOTE: If the Vendor Discussions feature is not enabled, the Project Owners will only have the option to select "Always Display" or "Do Not Display".
Vendor's Perspective/Opportunity Page
Vendors will see different banner messages depending on the display option selected.
Always Display
The provided contact information is visible on the opportunity page under Project Details. This will be the same regardless of whether Vendor Discussions are open, closed, enabled, or disabled.
Only display after the Questions Due Date
The message banner in the Vendor Discussions tab is updated to include the contact information. This will only be visible once Vendor Discussions are closed. Vendors will find the contact information in this banner as well as under the Project Details.
Do not display
No contact information is displayed on the opportunity page. The message banner in the Vendor Discussions tab is updated to indicate that the Project Owner will not respond to questions outside of the Vendor Discussions period.
