Why can I not view some documents in Bonfire?

From time to time you may find that there are some PDF documents that aren't clickable and therefore can't be viewed in Bonfire's Document Viewer. This is because they are saved as a "Portfolio PDF", which is the format that PDFs created in Adobe products typically take.

Because Adobe owns the technology behind Portfolio PDFs, these PDFs cannot be opened in any other program, including Bonfire's Document Viewer.

While you can download the document for viewing by hitting Actions and Download, it is suggested that you save and upload files in a more open format to allow others that do not have access to Adobe PDF readers to view them.
