How do I access Bonfire if I encounter an error about TLS?


You attempt to access Bonfire but receive an error message similar to the following:

This page can’t be displayed

Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to [the Bonfire portal] again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator. 


The TLS settings for your Internet Explorer browser are incorrectly configured, as in the screenshot below:


Please reach out to your internal IT team for assistance as they will be able to directly assist you with changing your settings and selecting the correct TLS options to enable. Please note that Bonfire supports TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2.
